The INDEX International Design Exhibition is the largest event in the region for the local architect and design industries, as it attracts more than 800 exhibitors from a whopping 41 countries under the roof of the Dubai World Trade Center.
With 25 years of experience behind it, INDEX International Design Exhibition prepares for its quarterly anniversary.

Apart from all of the news and events that will be running during 18th to 21 of May at INDEX Dubai 2015, one of the most important competitions is The Majlis Design Competition.

The Majlis is a traditional feature of Arabic interior design. Meaning ‘place of sitting’ in Arabic majlis’ play a significant role in Arab’s culture and heritage.

The Contemporary Majlis Design Competition invites design professionals to rethink the “Majlis” by giving it a contemporary, avant garde, Luxury and alternate perspective. Shortlisted designers will be given the opportunity to showcase their interpretation of a contemporary Majlis at INDEX Dubai.
