Industry Gallery, the only US gallery focused exclusively on twenty-first century design, opened in January 2010 in Washington D.C. Occupying over 4000 square feet of space in a converted auto repair shop, the gallery holds temporary exhibitions of work by designers selected for their ability to illuminate a broad spectrum of international design.

Established in 2005 by Parisian entrepreneurs and art devotees Loic Le Gaillard and Julien Lombrail, Carpenters Workshop Gallery is known for its discovery of bold and iconic design-art. Like many of the artists it fosters, the gallery takes a young, fresh and dynamic approach, primarily following its own aesthetic. They exhibit unique and limited edition works both by emerging and established artists, and designers.

Established in Beirut at Gefinor Center, the gallery exhibits limited-edition pieces in art and design events throughout the world, with a focus on internationalizing design in the Middle East. Carwan commissions and features the work of international designers and architects such as limited-edition furniture, lighting, and objets d’art.

Additionally,he established “NAKKASH GALLERY” in 1983, which focuses on distinctive lines of furniture, artwork and accessories. Pinpointing Nakkash’s own style is difficult, but it’s consistently soothing, whether the theme is African ethnic, or Neo-Classical. “I try to create a relaxing and comfortable space that has an element of elegance. I can’t say it’s classical or modern, as I use mixture of both”, he says. An experienced designer and avid art collector, Nakkash is adept at mixing style. I like to combine and blend, antique furniture with modern fabrics, for example.
