Silverfox Studio, Singapore-based firm has designed Dubai’s first W Hotel, located in Al Habtoor, the city’s first fully-integrated urban resort.
In 2009, W Doha opened its doors as the first W Hotel in the Middle East. Following the launch of W Dubai – Al Habtoor City, the brand is set to rapidly grow its portfolio in this region with four new hotels slated for the coming years. These include two more in the UAE: a second hotel in Dubai, the highly anticipated W Dubai – The Palm, and W Abu Dhabi; plus W Amman and W Muscat.

With 365 hotel rooms and suites, the interiors boast a bold and contemporary design, inspired by the hotel’s location which is adjacent to the energy and vibrancy of Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road.
Destination restaurant Namu, located above the W Lounge, bathes diners in golden light from the setting sun, offering an original fusion of Japanese and Korean flavors served in a futuristic setting with asymmetrical furnishings.

Linear patterns reflect the city’s rhythm and constant flux, with futuristic elements and custom furnishing which sometimes double as art complement the vivid colour palette of the sleek and minimalist guestrooms.
The signature suites combine unconventional layouts with colder tones. The open bathroom-to-bedroom concept adds to the fluidity of the design, which also features wall to ceiling mirrors that reflects the surroundings as well as the views of the city and the sea.
