Muse have been announced as the second international headliner at this year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The theatrical rock trio will headline the After-Race Concert on Saturday November 2. The announcement follows earlier news that Depeche Mode will perform on the closing Sunday evening, while a third headliner on Friday night is yet to be revealed.
Formed in the UK in 1994, since 1999’s debut album Showbiz Muse have captivated fans and critics alike with their mix of operatic vocals, showy guitar pyrotechnics and intricate song structures. Having released their sixth LP The 2nd Law last year, it is estimated the band have sold more than 15 million albums worldwide.
This year will mark the fifth Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Acts that have headlined previous events include Paul McCartney, Prince and Eminem.
The After-Race Concerts are only open to race day ticket holders. For ticketing information see www.yasalam.ae.
