Anyone who knows the Middle East and the regions around surely get mesmerized by one of the greatest assets of this part of the Earth: the colours. From Morocco to the tip of the UAE, passing through Turkey and Saudi Arabia, the colours are in constructions, clothing, accessories, furniture. The techniques of applying colours in fabrics that are used in these regions are famous worldwide and attract tourists and photographers from the whole world.
In September the colours of these east lands will fill the gray London. Between days 14 and 23, the UK capital will host the largest concentration of design events in the world, there will occur the 100% Design, the Design Junction, the Tent London, the Super Brands London and Decorex. And Kuwait will have a surrogate: The brand “Maze” will be the Arabian exhibitor at the traditional Decorex.
Founded by Bibi Abdullah Alghanim, the brand works with pieces inspired by fabrics and regions such as Marrakech and UAE. The wealth of details is incredible and the craftsmanship retrace these regions, especially in the applications of gold. Among the various collections of the brand are armchairs, cushions, fabrics, benches and tables.
The Decorex happen between 23 and 26 September at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, and Maze’s pieces may be check at stand B62.
