FR Hueb, opened in the first half of this year, its the first Brazilian jewelry in Dubai. The company produces jewelry in gold, c and Brazilian stones, and the unit was opened in Souq Al Bahar, shopping center next to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, world’s tallest building.
Within a few months of operation, the store is going successfully in the region with the retail of a feminine and delicate type of jewelry. Just in the first month, pieces were sold to people from 16 different countries. But did you know that the FR Hueb is a subsidiary of a Brazilian company? The jewelery has been around for 25 years in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil southeastern.
The brand already exported to the Middle East when decided to open the store. The external sales of the factory started in 2000 by the United States. “But we see a preference for our jewelery in the Middle East,” says the founding partner of the company, Rogério Abdala. Today, besides the United States and the Middle East, the brand exports to Russia and countries of South America but the main focus is the Arabs.
The founder’s family is of Lebanese origin and is now in the fourth generation in Brazil. The work with jewelery began with Fadua Hueb in the 1970s. She sold jewelry for her friends and from this started a network. The first official store was opened by his son, Rogério Hueb in 1987.
Creation of the pieces is made by the Rogério’s wife, the director of creation Cristina Hueb, and her design team. Among the attractions of the brand, are the high standard materials used in the manufacture and the design of the pieces.
