Aksu/Suardi is an design studio in Milan, Italy. Its name comes of the founders Sezgin Aksu and Silvia Suardi. Sezgin Aksu was born in 1970 in Turkey. He’s a designer and study in Germany, Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart, and in France, Les Ateliers, Paris. Aksu also lectures at the Istituto Europeo del Design, the Nuova Accademia delle Belle Arti and the Istituto Superiore di Architettura e Design.
Silvia Suardi was born in 1967 in Italy. She’s an architect and completed her University education in Italy and Spain at the Universities of Politecnico di Milano and Seviglia.
Suardi, works with many international magazines, has published two books entitled, “Michele De Lucchi: Dopotolomeo” and “Marco della Torre. Il progetto per l’arte”. She also lectures on design and exhibition design in various schools.
They’re met in Michele de Lucchi’s studio where they both work about 10 years. Since 2001 they work together in Aksu/Suardi studio. From their studio they work on interior design projects, exhibition design furniture and graphic design.
