Situated in Karagulla building next to the Porsche dealership, within close range of designer shops, the new Cavalli Caffè opened this month in Beirut downtown.
Daring zebra and giraffe prints cover the interior with a terrace also available for outdoor dining. The Italian restaurant sells imported wine, gourmet chocolate and other delicacies. Italian Chef Francesco Brocca is the man behind the creative menu.
To the opening was invited, food artist, Tom Wolfe – the fashion industry’s gastronomical go-to guy – to lend his eye and culinary skill to the restaurant’s menu. To TimeOut Beirut he revealed what he was preparing: “I’m coming up with three Tom Wolfe signature dishes. One of them is an edible lipstick. It’s an organic 72% dark chocolate, and I designed a Cavalli tray to hold it. This is what I do – I make ‘wow’ things.”
Faithful to the Cavalli name, this upmarket and stylish destination is set to attract the most fashion forward, food devotees in the region. Roberto Cavalli invites you to go.
