Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi’s concept aims to harmoniously blend luxury in nature. The development consists of 3 pristine islands, surrounded by the crystal-clear azure waters of the Indian Ocean. They’ve ensured that the design follows the international standards meeting the local environmental requirements and needs.
Building design, height, orientation and density is guided by the natural setting and local architectural style, to reduce visual impact and intrusion, while maximizing natural solutions and optimizing cultural integration and identity, especially at more sensitive sites. Measures to limit energy and water consumptions in Operational facilities are considered to avoid any impact in the ecosystem and biodiversity.
The Sheraton Hotel was designed in 1982 by a different consultancy group. In 2014, the client requested Highness to design, supervise and execute a new design, in a challenging period of 6 months.
The design intent was to keep the same spirit of the original 1982 Sheraton Hotel. The project operates under Katara Hospitality.
Sumaysimah Hotels & Resort is a 5-star Hotel with a 43,000 sqm. area, that consists of 180 keys together with other facilities and amenities.
The Hilton Hotel is a residences-style property comprising a mix of quality serviced apartments; from small studio apartments to expansive 3-bedroom apartments, penthouses and townhouses.
The hotel will feature: 413 rooms, 3 boardrooms, a business center, adult and kids’ swimming pool, male and female gymnasium, spa, ample indoor and outdoor parking spaces. It will also feature Hilton signature restaurants’ Levantine Restaurant and Mulberry Lounge.
Hotel & Complex of Al Najada Souq. The project involves the design and supervision consultancy project for all the Hotel’s complex facilities and the 160-key hotel.
The project is located at the historical area of Souq Waqif, in front of Al Merqab Hotel.
