While many people were seeing fireworks dancing, drinking champagne, eating the twelve raisins, make some wishes and enjoying the best of New Year’s Eve, the skies in Dubai were making this truly beautiful show of colorful and explosive lights!

Dubai has seen last years in unforgettable style, with a successful attempt at the world record for the largest ever fire works display.

The history-making performance saw 479,651 shells fired in just six minutes on New Year’s Eve, at a rate of almost 80K shells per minute and 1,332 fireworks per second.

So with even more expected as we switch over to 2016, where is the best place to watch the stunning displays that will light up the sky in three separate locations around town. The main display, as is tradition, will be at the world’s tallest building on the stroke of midnight. Then, at 00:09 the Burj Al Arab will do its thing, followed by another mesmerising show at The Beach, JBR at 00:1
