‘Chairs for Abu Dhabi’ stacks up at Abu Dhabi Art

In November the Abu Dhabi Art Gallery recive the BEYOND fair. The japanese artist Tadashi Kawamata comes with his pieces. Tadashi Kawamata was born in 1953 in Hokkaido, Japan. His construtions are made in wood to link the past to the present and the interior and exterior.

Kawamata exibited and work in all of the world and his work not limited to an architectual study, her concerne the social context. In this fair his master piece  is Chairs for Abu Dhabi. This creation is made with hundred of chairs stacked in layers forming a six meter-high structure. It designed as contemplative space for storytelling and discussion.

In November the Abu Dhabi Art Gallary recive the BEYOND fair. The japanese artist Tadashi Kawamata comes with his pieces.

The interior area will be a lively space furnished with floor-aushions to allow people the freedom to move and arrange as they wish.The chair for Abu Dhabi, and the other pieces, has begun a month before the Abu Dhabi Art opens to the public on 7-10 November.In the interim periods, it will be a place for people to gather, rest and learn more about craft and design through a collection of books and journals.
