Art Dubai, this event is taking place at the the Madinat Complex since yesterday and until the 23 of March. Includes an extensive not-for-profit programme of curated projects, including artists’ and curators’ residencies; commissioned site-specific and performative works; a pop-up radio network; The Hatch, a space for film and video; and a city-wide touring gallery. Each year, the fair also hosts the launch exhibition of works by the winners of the annual Abraaj Group Art Prize.

The Art Dubai Education runs throughout the year; the programme includes intensive graduate internships and the six-month “Saturday school”, Campus Art Dubai. At the fair itself, besides the Global Art Forum, Art Dubai 2013 includes Sheikha Manal Little Artists, an expanded programme of workshops and tours for children, plus opportunities for volunteers and interns, among other educational initiatives.

Art Dubai is featuring over 75 galleries from 30 different countries, and is showcasing works of over 500 artists.

The topic chosen for this year is ‘Definitionism’. You can Join the debate and find live talks by artists, musicians, museum directors, strategists, writers and thinkers.

 Children’s Art Educational Programme

For children aged 3 to 14, includes workshops, sketchbooks, and discovery tours. Get the little ones involved with artist-conceived projects

 DXB Store

Fashion meets art at the DXB store, one very exclusive place. Where you can find limited-edition objects, jewelry, portable furniture, stationary and clothes that illustrate the originality and creativity of the featured artists.
