Go mad for mezze: The Rosewood Hotel on Al Maryah Island has announced its first bubbly night. Called Sparkling Thursdays, the event is held on the terrace of their Lebanese restaurant Sambusek and there’ll be a live DJ, a selection of mezze and free-flowing bubbly available all night. It all kicks off at 7.30pm and costs Dhs500 per person.

Entertain the little ones: Wondering what to do with the children this summer? Instead of letting them laze in front of the telly, why not sign them up for the Al Forsan summer camp? Held daily between 9am and 3pm, children between the ages of five and 15 can enjoy a range of activities.

Dance the night away: Thursday is finally here and what better way to kick off the weekend than with a night of dancing? Book a table for your friends at Etoiles and boogie ’til the wee hours.
